THL - Crown.

Just finished watching the movie. The Hurt Locker.
At the time of deciding to watch the movie,
I didn't really know any background of it.
I knew it was reference to the Iraqi war.. and bombs.
Which was pretty much what the movie was.
But of course it was so much more deeper than that.
There were stories. And personalities, Battle ground fineness..
I forced my brother to come with me. ( Sorta. We traded what we both wanted. He wanted a specific food. I wanted to watch a specific movie.)
But he was skeptical of the quality of movie. He asked me to look up the trailer for it....

(and trailers are funny.. like if you've already seen the movie, and you see the trailer for it, you notice in the trailer that they show off all the good parts in the movie, all the important parts. Of course.. When you watch the trailer without having seen the movie you don't really know whats going on, but when you do, your just like 'Damn... They fucked up the movie...')

So i found the trailer for it.
And we played 10-15 seconds of it, stopped the video
and we both said 'Alright.., let's go'

Got to the movie theater a little late. (Damn food made us late.)
Which bothered me a little because I usually read all the intro sequence, pay attention to all the video and text editing. I like reading all the intro credits... :) So, I don't know how the movie started in that sense, but luckily we sat down when the first scene was just beginning! Yess.....

The movie is the excellence of the sand battle. An unadulterated demonstration of a team of specialist in heat of danger. I read in a review that 'if this movie couldn't demonstrate what the Iraqi was is, then who knows what can.' And those lines sticked to me till the end of the movie. Hollywood was not involved. The sun beam on these fellow soldiers and burned their faith and safety away, and it seemed so real, it burned the audience too. You can lick your dry chapped lips and feel the sand in the small cuts of your work torn hands. It was real.

You had the M-16 in hand right next to them.

Based with a small amount of characters, each individual brings a character different from the other.
The blend of personalities strike different themes in the movie, cashing in dept, and focusing on original, authentic dialogue. Watching the movie, you become a close friend and understand their point of views. It becomes Personal. Which is hard to find sometimes...

And aside from all that.
The most important.
It was thriller.
Audio cuts were truly awesome.
Mucho tension. You expected a misfortune.
Fitted perfectly in what was advertised.
Whoooo....

Go watch it.
