WM.

I Went to the CAGE Show last night.
It was the first time seeing CAGE live,
I had had fun reciting his lyrics with him..
Though, the turn out of people was just sad..
There seem to have been more people for the
opening artist. Once After the first artists did their set,
about half the crowd left. And played a huge factor
to the atmosphere of the show. Without people being into
the music and enthusiastic, and then including the lack of a crowd,
the show just became a little dis-spirited.
At least in comparison to other performances I have attended.

Despite “ No participation” in Chicago, CAGE's performance was
still awesome, it did not change his attitude toward his music.
He shredded every lyric with much enthusiasm, you truly
saw his verses come from an inner, personal level.
Listening to a recorded song, a degree of 'feeling' gets
lost within a perfect recording. But live, it becomes magical.
You hear and view music in a different reference, it's of course
just so much more, Alive. CAGE is known for he's descriptive
lyrics and unimpaired imagination in poetry and raps- so finally
to hear it, see it live after years of listening to just CDs, It's
pretty special.

And CAGE, he's just so wild on the microphone and stage.
How can you not be so into it?..... Tripping all over the place,
falling on the crowd, unprecedented skills in lyrics..
Thank you cage.

  1. live shows are always awesome (and don't you love it when artists put all their soul into something we can enjoy with them?)
